I have a 99 honda civic EX and i am getting ready to put in 2 12in (1600 watt) subs and underbody lights in. I was wondering if I should add a second battery in the trunk to run the underbody lights because I'm afraid that it will drain the battery in the engine. What do you guys think?

 

your electronics run off of the alt. not the batt. with a capacitator between your amp and battery you should be fine. those lights will mostlikely get flamed on this thread. so be warned for some fast and furious comments.

purchase a ac/dc converter and install christmas lights under the car!
cheaper and you get the blinking feature too!
