Default h22a Low idle with code 14 (bad ecm/bad iacv)

Hey guys i got this problem its idling at 500rpms and wants to die almost. Engine shakes pretty good amount as well.

I also get the code 14 which is a bad iacv. Is there any way to check this or diagnose this further.

THe strange thing is that this is happening with a p13 (usdm prelude ecu)

However, when i switch to an accord sir ecu pof14 it has an irratic idle that jumps from 500 to 1500 and stalls occasionally. However with this ecu there are no codes. Wtf is going on?

I would stick with the p13 and just fix what it's telling you that's wrong. Obviously you have a bad iacv. You could try cleaning it or replacing it to see if that fixes it. I'm not sure how compatible that accord ecu is with the h22 but like i said i would stick with the p13. You can also adjust the idle with the screw that's on the TB but i would try to fix the CEL first and see if it resolves anything.

the p0f ecu is an h22 ecu. i suspect that the bad idle is due to the iacv on it, while the p13 just sees the iacv as bad. to me it just sounds like you need to replace the iacv if it is not working right...assuming the wiring is not damaged somehow.

is there any way to test the iacv to see if its bad? I was going to take it off and clean it as well
