change your pcv valve cuz if it goes bad then all the pressure that is supposed to be vented out through there will find other ways to get out. that would be a good start. its bout $10 for the part

its right on the valve cover towards the rear of the engine bay on the drivers side. changing it is as easy as pullling the old one out and sliding the new one on. only tool you might need is a pair of pliers for the clam thats on the hose.

Yeah sounds like a defective pcv valve, you can check it by shaking it and see if it rattles. Also make sure that you don't have an oil filter seal already stuck to the block of ur engine and trying to put a new one on thats already on the filter. Sometimes the old ones get stuck and putting 2 seals on doesn't work.

If the oil filter is leaking, it shouldn't have anything to do with the pcv valve, as the oil filter is not exposed or affected by crankcase pressure. It's affected by oil pressure instead. Otherwise, everyone would have the same problem as the pcv valve stays shut by the internal spring under certain condition such as wot or under boost where there isn't enough vacuum to operate the valve. Some clarification regarding what "seals" are blown in the oil filter would help determine what the actual problem is.

Ur right in that the oil filter isn't affected by crankcase pressure. But a bad pcv valve can blow valve cover gasket seals at least due to high crankcase pressure. The pcv doesn't suck in blow by gasses at WOT because there's no vacuum at WOT. The pcv valve only works at idle or when there's vacuum being applied to it. That's why there's also a hose on the other end of the valve cover to get rid of blowby gasses as it pushes it out and into the intake.
