So i was thinking of miscellaneous theft detterants today, and i thought, what about wiring in something like flashers to your taillights(you flip a switch and if the car is driven, the taillights flash), or just a switch that shuts off your taillights so that if your car got stolen, the thief is more likely to get pulled over when driving it. I know this isn't anything amazing, especially since they only drive the minimum they can and they aren't likely to be seen, but it is a very easy thing to do, and might just help. Thoughts??

 

If used as another layer to a well-installed alarm, sure, why not.

 

It might work. But expecting cops to act on that might be hard because now cops turn the other way on a bunch on stuff.

 

Wire your horn or a siren to your brake lights or turn signals.

 

yeah, wire it with the HELLA horns. It will sure be noticed.
