Default Bpi v-stack/short ram question

Hi everyone.

I 'm using a bpi velocity stack with a k&n rf-1048 filter. They are mounted on a 3" short ram that is 16" long. I recently thought about fabricating some kind of cold air box and was ready to buy the DIY parts that are necessary to do it.

But, 2 days ago I noticed that Weapon*R sells a "cold air box" made of aluminium. I tried to find pictures of their 94-01 Integra box but I failed.

I emailed the company and a dealer but they weren't any helpful...

Has anyone actually seen or even installed this box? I need more info in order to decide what to do next so please help me if you know anything.

Take care

This idea, is the best thing you can do for your existing intake system. I'd highly recommend following through.

I'll call our distributor that carries Weapon R, and see if I can't get an answer for you.

Thanks man!
Btw it was the results and comments in your posts, among others, that steered me towards this intake setup...
I 've been searching and gathering ideas and information for the last 5 months. This car is my first Honda/Acura so I 'm trying to learn more about it and what it likes and what it doesn't.

awwwww... what about mine? https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=2221274

it must have been jordan's dyno plots and large pictures. at least i can say i was first among the recent 4 or so BPi threads...lol. BPi FTMFW

oh, and to the OP, check out user "bsq" 's threads about his icetake. you'll find the 3" icetake version, but he did have a 4" version on teamintegra.net or whatever. that's something i'm going to try later on to incorporate for the bottom end of the box/tube and for my first one, i'll try to fab up some sort of enclosed airbox like the mugen/comptech/oem... something ghetto like the one found here: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread/2224774

really? i don't see why you couldn't fit it lower and then have some sort of rubber or foam (that can stand heat) to help seal it off.

that looks like a pretty good deal, actually. the only thing that would be of major concern is whether or not you could fit the K&N RF-1048 under that thing and my wild *** guess is that you wouldn't be able to unless you had a longer pipe than the OEM intake arm to reach the far corner. even then, the filter would be too large and you'd have to use a smaller filter. still, it's a good idea and it's not that expensive...

I understand what you are saying but we 've never seen the actual integra box. The picture in that ebay item is a sample it's not the integra box.
I emailed the seller 8 days ago asking for some pics but didn't receive any

If anybody has seen one or has pictures of it please don't be shy...
