so i got a top swap so now i got a actual glass rear window not the plastic....n my only problem is now that i want a defroster button but not sure which is the best approach......i saw poeple have a center console with the defroster switch on it.....or jus buy a 04 switch which would go on the dash...im not sure if the 04 dash button would work so i was wondering if i got the defrost button thats behind the cupholder is for sale any where can find it so if some one can point me the the right direction that would be great cuz i cant find it any where

i would but the there is not plug to connect the defroster button to it the wiring for the 01 is differsent from the 04....so im tryna get the defroser button thats located behind the cup holder for the 01's n cant find it everywhere....

 

Did you ever find a good source? I have an 01 with a newer top and glass window as well. I would love to hookup the rear defrost.

 

its no that hard to just wire in the defrost, anyone with basic wiring and soldering knowledge can do it
