Power mirrors and locks tied together somehow?
Just the other day I went to adjust the driver side mirror and when I adjusted the mirror "up" the doors locked. The Passenger side mirror adjusts fine. As aof nowI just unplugged the harness from the mirror and the locks fnction fine, as does the pass. mirror. Does anyone know what this could be? Its not a major thing, but just wierd.

I know that there is a problem with the Civics (at least) with power locks. It's known to Honda, but there is no fix available for it as far as I know.
At least some 6th gen Civics with power locks will occasionally cycle their locks to closed. Never to open though. This will happen randomly.
This is why you NEVER leave keys in the car if you have power locks. The keys do not need to be in the ignition in order for the locks to cycle.

Its not a problem with the locks cycling randomly, just the issue i described with the power mirror. Oh well...its not a huge thing I can deal with it. Maybe some time when I'm board I'll look into it in depth.

You said it happened once. That means you that the circumstances might not be fully understood.

the locks didn't cycle randomly by them selves...it happened when I adjusted the left mirror, no other time. Since then I've unplugged the mirror inside the door and no more problem, just no control over the left mirror itself.
I'd just like to try to figure out what the connection would be with locks and the mirrors.

I can't see how it could happen if it's stock wiring.

Im having the same issue in my 98 HX and my 99 EX. pass. mirror adjusts fine, But the Drivers side only goes up or down. Right Does Nothing And Left UNlocks the drivers door? anybody?
So basically when you have the mirror setting to the drivers side and press the mirror to the left it unlocks the door???
Try this, go to the drivers door, open it and you will see a black rubber boot going into the door, pull it back and look at all the wires and see if any are broken.
Report back.
