ARP Headstud HELP!
Im getting my head milled and had some **** done to it and im gunna get arp headstuds for my car instead of head bolts...i have a b18c5 type r head and i wanna get the arp headstuds...now im gunna get it from summit and they have b16 and b18c1 applications...now i know b16 heads and type r head r basically the same head except for the type r's have a more modified head w/ valve springs and cams..ect.. and the gsr and type r, i think, are completely diff. w/ the combustion chamber and what not...now i called a guy at inline4 and they said that the b18c1 headstuds would work for my R but my friend says that a b16 application will work b/c they r the same heads...if anyone has any imput or info to help me b/c i wanna go to summit tomorrow, their warehouse is located 15 mins from me, and get it but i dont know if i should get the b16 or b18c1 headstuds if anyone can help that would be awesome

go to summitracing.com and look up arp headstuds....it just has applications for 'B18C1' and 'B16'....so the 'R' doesnt come up in either one

Come on, this is not about summit knowing anything about hondas. This is about you knowing the difference between a b16, b18c, b18c1, and b18c5. If you had done a little research on here you would have found out the b18c's... have longer studs than b16a's. Also, you would know that all b18c's have the same deck height.
