Default electrical

i have a 1992 honda civic lx 4 door with a d15b7 1.5 engine on it. And i recently had to replace my electrical because it all fried, and i connected the brake lights but when i step on the brake pedal the directional bulbs turn on, and the directional don't turn on, there is power everywhere. can someone help out with this electrical stuff. possibly thinking i probably connected something wrong but everything looks good.
