Integra LS engine takes a few minutes to shut off??!@#
It happened only a few times today, but its the first time it's happened.
When I turn the key to the off position and pull it out, the blower and stuff shuts off, but the engine sits idle for a few minutes, then shuts off on its own.
WTF?

This is the first time I have heard of a FI engine dieseling, because the fuel injectors should stop spraying when the car is turned off. So, how could the fuel injectors still be recieving power with the car off? Weird...

In my girlfriends moms Chrsyler van you could pull the key out while you're driving and it would still run
I forgot to ask how you would shut it off if you really wanted it turned off. I think she traded it in on a newer Chrysler van

I have herd of people having this problem when they try to wire their aftermarket fan to come on like the stock one. I'm not sure how or why it does that, but I would start there (if you have one)
A more detailed list of aftermarket parts would help.

Do you mean just pull the key out or turn the ignition cylinder to the off position and it would still run?

I took it apart and found some wiring for some sort of after market alarm system. The control box was hidden behind the dash, never mind haha. Looks like he never finished the job....looks jenky so I just removed it completley.
