due to an unfortunate silly mistake (i dropped a valve spring retainer keeper and can't find it).. i've used a flexible magnet in the cylinders that it could have went down so i'm certain it isn't sitting on a piston... i've drained the oil but so far it hasn't come out, going to take the sump off tomorrow morning.

Thing is i need my car for work so i was thinking, as i'm sure it's not in a cylinder, possibly in the block but it could have disappeared on teh ground somewhere.. i was thinking of just getting a replacement, getting the car running again, then draining the oil after 5 mins of running to make sure it's still not lingering about in the oil somewhere... and possibly repeating that process once more.. and also fitting a magnetic sump plug as well.

So my question is (was supposed to be short).. what other engines are these keepers the same as? i have a B18C4 which i'm sure is the same as the B18C1 (GSR) engine.. was going to go to the junkyard tomorrow if Honda don't have them in stock and getting one from another engine as i doubt they'll have a B18 in there.
