is it bad to have a assembled motor that hasen't been ran at all sit on the engine stand for awhile or would it be better to disassemble if not quite ready with the car.........THANKS GUY any info helps...........

 

Keep it bagged, make sure there is assembaly lube in it, and don't spin it too much, and then take a rag, and some oil and wipe the cylinder walls with it, too keep it from rusting, and you should be fine. How long are we talking? Mine sat for a couple months before getting fired up.
