Default Another happy Hondata customer!!!

Well after two months of reading and researching I finally have it. Let me first say the Hondata reflash is AWESOME! I just had it installed yesterday @ Church's Auto and testing in Long beach.
They did a before and after dyno on my car with a "Dyno pack" dyno. I put out some pretty good numbers, even though it is only hub H.P. it's still really high. So far I have an AEM CAI, DC R/H,and Skunk2 70mm megapower exhaust. My base line run came in @ 219.1(hub) h.p and 164 ftlbs TQ (hub). After the insatll of the Hondata reflash and intake gasket my second run was 224.3 (hub)h.p and 169.2ftlbs TQ. I know everyone is goin gto say "it's only hub H.P"but it still great news. The tech said that would = about 208whp.
All I can say is the car is way faster and much more fun to drive! Anyone who is thinking about getting the reflash SHOULD! I welcome any feedback or other peoples experiances!!

it is right now, but it also utilizes the Hondata reflash. It's the Moss/Jackson kit. R&D wanted to make some changes to the 06 kit so it would work for the 07. And I have to say it works great!

Nice, I was impressed with their numbers when the kit came out. Good to know they are still working to improve on it.

The reflash's main benefit is MID-RANGE power. That's why his overall peak HP didn't go up very much....but I bet he gained alot in the mid range.

Any dyno charts OP??

If you can save the print-out to your computer then all you have to do is get on an image-hosting site such as http://www.photobucket.com and upload it to the site from your saved file on the computer.

Then you can copy and paste the image code from photobucket to this site and presto.....instant pic.

No problem. Thanx for the charts!

Jeez. That torque curve is all over the place.

is there a reason they only revved it to 8300 after the reflash? the rev limiter should be 8600

Doesn't matter. The powerband is already falling off before 8300RPM anyway. Revving to 8600 won't make a difference in the power output.

Rico, if I'm reading this right, the gap between the two runs on the hp chart is the significant increase in midrange HP, correct?

That's pretty legit.

We are doing a reflash on a customers Si. We are sending out the ECU out today but here is one of his baseline runs :

This was done on our DynoJet 224x.

Not to mention the potential risk for valve float, or damage from over rev. I think Hondata should allow the "option" to raise the rev limit.

That torque gain at 5K-5500 RPM is huge!
