Mini me head gasket thickness?
I was looking into swapping a Y8 head onto my A6 and was wondering what thickness (mm) head gasket will I need to keep the compression in a safe range. I'm going to get a Cometic head gasket but I want to see what thickness you guys where using before doing so. I know the Y8 head and gasket will net me about 10.3-1 compression but I would like to keep it in the mid-high 9's area. Any idea on how thick of a head gasket I'll need?
No one in here with a mini me??? Then which head gasket do you guys use when doing a Y8 head swap without running into knocking and detonation problems?

i built a mini me couple of times
i built mine for turbo
so i used d16a6 block
with d16z6 head
i used pistons that go to a d16z6
and a comestic head gasket
i got the second to the thickest one cuz i wanted
super low compression
if u wanna go low compression
i wouldnt use a d16y8 head i would use a z6
and then get sum pistons that came from z6
and comestic gasket
