Im going to be running a jdm p73 on my type r set up, did the jdm type r have a/c hooked up to the ecu? I think it did, i just dont want to lose my ac by running this ecu.Thanks!

 

A/C works the same as the USDM counterpart.

 

We have a couple of these ECUs, Both of the ones we have require you to jump the AC controls in the ECU for it to work.These are 98 ECUs if that helps you any.

mmm, maybe the 00-01 is different in that aspect. I've tried the 023 on a car with A/C, no issues.
But I haven't had a chance to try the 003 and 013 yet.

Now that I think about it, logically the 003 will not have the A/C control, the 96/97 spec ITR never came with the A/C option.

 

I'm running a 003 with my Type-R, and there are no issues with the A/C at all.
