Default Question about 2001 honda civic ex

hey guys!

I just recently bought a 2001 honda civic ex and i was looking at all these posts and everyone is talking about em2 civic. How can you tell if you know if you have a em2, sorry kinda new to hondas and everything.

you can look in your vin. But two doors 2001-2005=em2. Four door=es1 I think

01-05 four door = es1,es2 depending on if it is dx,lx or ex
