For a LS swap can i just use the stock mounts for the time being? Or do I have to buy aftermarket mounts.

 

Isn't the LS motor a B18 of sorts? I would think that you would need b-series conversion mounts.

 

No, you cannot use the stock mounts, you will need an aftermarket B-series mount kit.

Its called i did search didnt find anything saying I couldnt. Just say buy mounts. I'm sorry I like to make sure I have everything I need.

are you using a cable tranny or hydro?

Hasport EFB1 Mount Kit (for cable tranny)

Hasport EFB2 Mount Kit (for hydro tranny)

Hasport mounts are pretty popular and are great mounts. Innovative also sells mounts. Or you can get some cheapo's from ebay, but don't trust workmanship.
