Default HybridRacing or Hasport Mounts?

whos got what? again, this is for a k20a2 goin into an em2...

some dudes in my auto class were talkin about the hasport mounts, and how they dont line up perfectly with the pre-drilled holes on the engine compartment...

someone mentioned hybrid racing motor mounts, and that those were a much better fit...

so for those of you who drive a k20a2-em2...what are you using?

Hasport is the only company that makes mounts for a K series into a 2001+ civic And mine lined up perfect even with a k24

did you have to drill any additonal holes? or was the fit pretty much on the money?

Hybrid mounts have more vibrations based on my friends' k20a dc2.

Regardless I'm pretty sure Hybrid still hasn't developed the 01-05 civic mounts yet.

I've had the Hasport mounts since my swap in 2004 and never had a problem with them daily driven even in the winter months.

There are going to be vibrations. Its the price you pay for power. You want the mounts to be pretty solid. Its race car **** man.

Hasport mounts are the better option, simply due to their experiences with the swapping community. I run Hasport mounts on my K24.

Yes, you'll need the RSX sub-frame.

It was on the money ,although as far as the vibration yes I do get that alot but I believe that's a given. Who the hell am I to complain about the vibration, I'll pick vibration any day given that I now have 200 hp and 6 gears LOL!

What exactly is the subframe? Is that the part that attatches the mounts?

It sits underneath the engine and bolts up to the frame of the car.
The lower engine mounts attach to the subframe.

Softer mounts would break. The vibrations aren't "that" bad. I've been in other modded cars that have much worse vibrations.

if you girls are worried about the vibrations, use two of the hasport mounts and use the OEM REAR MOUNT instead of the HASPORT rear mount. That will cut down the vibration tremendously. I used the OEM rear mount and my car vibrates a little only. Only vibrates upon warm up and once it warms up, you can hardly notice it.
