engine cover
hey sorry for posting another topic so soon but i also had a questions for those wit a 98-02 accord 2 door.....when you pop the hood wheere it says 3.0l vtec the plastic part that covers the engine which i believe is a 3 part set.. where can i replace it i need new ones i tried to paint it but it came out bad and started to chip...
can anyone let me know the price for the plastic engine cover and what type of paint to recommend thank you

I used Kylon Fusion which is deigned to bond to plastics. Still looks great 5-6 years later.

yeah the part that ypu have thats colored BLUE in the pic above all 3 parts i need.....how much do they cost....And also that looks crazy man all those blue wires....looks really good how much did you pay for all those wires...i purchased a red radiator hose on ebay....but where can i replace all those red wires?
so i posted this question about the paintable 98 accord v6 engine cover....but never got a reply to what it was called....i am talking about the part that says 3.0 vtec there are like 4 removable plastic parts...on hondaautomotive .com or on hondapartsdeal.com i just want to know the name of the part because i looked in every title and i couldnt find it can someone get a link...thanks

how much do u think it costs to paint and replace all of those parts that he replaced^^^ in the picture above? i want to replace some of my wires too..
When I did this to my Accord back in the day I used one can of krylon fusion plastic paint for about $6 and the blue stuff is just all wire loom and blue zip ties. I probably spent $40-50 on all the loom. It was easy and cheap back when I wasn't to confident replacing vacuum lines and running new wires. Intake was just a cheap generic one and so was the oil filler cap. The neuspeed bar was probably the most expensive item in there.
