ZC crank sensor question

ZC crank sensor question

If that sensor isnt hooked up after the motor swap will it throw a check engine light?
if so is there any quick fixes or do i need to install in the block?
the car is 01 civic lx and had a D16Y7.

im pretty sure there might be a cel cause i think it detects the misfire or give readings

quick fix, i dont know.....but i think it has to be hook

yes you need it and it can just be swapped from the previous motor, simple fix. Just to let everyone know

YEs it'll throw a CEL, yes there is a quick fix ---> http://technet.ff-squad.com/ckftrick.htm

Your car is either a '96 - '00 BTW, or someone finally figured out how to swap a D16Y7 into an '01 - '05 civic chassis.
