im getting some 15" wheels soon for my car and i need to find some tires. i want them to handle good on dry pavement and i want them to last too and i dont wanna pay a fourtion for them. any i ideas?
Well, if you really wanted an informed reply you could tell us what kind of car this is for, and you could tell us where you're located and what kinds of weather you need to drive in. But apparently you don't really want an accurate answer to your question.

The 15" tire size you need for your '92-95 Civic is 195/50-15.
If you don't need to use these tires in snow or frigid cold in the winter - either you have a separate set of winter tires, or another vehicle you can use - then you can get some good summer tires. For what you're looking for, good choices include the Kumho SPT or Fuzion ZRi, both around $58/tire at the Tire Rack.
If you have to use them in snow and cold in winter as well as warmer temperatures the rest of the year, then you'll need all-season tires, in which case you'll be sacrificing some handling to gain the extra flexibility. The best all-seasons in that particular size are the Kumho AST ($41) or the Falken Ziex ZE-912 ($48).

N.P.
Note - I think this size SPT is not available at the Tire Rack, according to their website. But I know Kumho makes them in this size. So you may have to shop around and/or have them special ordered by your local Kumho dealer. Or get the ZRi.

Nonsense. They're an excellent "bang for the buck" tire, as good as you can get in that price range. If you want something even better, you can get the Goodyear F1 GS-D3 in that size for $93, but not everyone wants to pay a fortune (or even a fourtion
) for tires.

He's wrong. The SPT offers very good performance at a bargain price. Very good performance on dry pavement, awesome in rain, and they last a long time.
Of course, it all depends on what you're looking for. You can get tires that are even better, dry and wet, if you want to spend more (e.g. Goodyear F1 GS-D3). You can get tires that are even better dry, but not as good in rain and don't last as long (Falken Azenis RT-615). You can get tires that do better in snow and frigid cold, but don't do as well at moderate to warm temperatures (all-season tires).

The SPT aren't ****... I love them... They are amazing on the rain!!! I even tracked on them and they held up just fine... not as good as my RT615 but still did well!!!
