Default Will I notice a difference without sound deadening in the rear?

I have my rear seat removed and I am thinking about removing the rear sound deadening material and painting the metal. With the seat already removed, will I be able to notice a difference in noise when the sound deadening is also taken out? It seems like the rear seat muffles most of the noise and without it, the sound deadening does not really do much. Is this true?

I didn't notice any difference when I took my rear sound deadening out. However I now have full int. back in the car as it has temp. gone back to daily status til Aug.
Even with sound deadening out and full int. back I don't notice a dif.

That is good to know. It doesn't look like it could be doing that much, especially if the rest of the rear interior is already out. Thanks
