Does anyone know if there is a difference between a 96-98 airbag module and a 99-00 module? Ive read somewhere that they're different but ive also heard there the same... Any help would be very much appreciated!

 

i think that the 96-98 are a little thicker..and also they have 4 screws on the module so u can open it up..and i think the 99-00 is a tad bit skinnier but bolts right up and doesnt have screws so u can open it up..but i believe u can use both..just double check

 

Yea thats what im trying to do! haha ive heard so many different things i might just try and see haha...

u can also take the two wires that come out the back of the airbag and hook it to a 12v and watch that sucker blow....just to make sure its out the car first...then gather the gold ring inside the bag its a bitch to get out though

 

cky4skater what are you talking about? Im confused what gold ring your talking about and what it has to do with the airbag module... haha anyways thanks to everyone!
