B18a-B18b heads need help

Default B18a-B18b heads need help

ok i got a buddys head at my house witch is a b18b and i got my head witch is the b18a that im porting myself and ive hered that the b18b head flows better but i was looking at the intake ports and the b18b looks to be more closed and the b18a head seems more open and free flowing can anyone help me close this myth

b18a ports are smaller, measure them. i dunno what kinda myth there is most people conceded that the main difference in power between the motors is the cams and intake manifolds.
