Default custom mandrel bending needed for SAE Baja

hey guys, Im the team captain for SAE Baja at virginia tech. Our jd2 bender wont ben 4130 1" .035 tubing to the 33* angle we need for our a-arms.
I was hoping that someone on here would have a contact that would do about 20 bends for us for free. We would have the company's name on our car that sees many local school related events, as well as two national events per year.

Mazier(sp.) if you would help thatd be great, I couldnt find your username as i forgot how to spell it.

thank you

Howdy, I'm captain of Auburn this year. Have you tried increasing your radius? We can't do 1" x .049 x 3"R on our 105, but 1" x .035 x 4"R works.

Only going to 2 comps this year?

we just got back from upper peninsula michigan for the winter race.
we normally only goto midwest and east.

yeah its actually a 4.5" radius
we can bend all of our 1020 on it just fine, but the 4130 has some trouble.
plus 4 of the bends needed are about 160*

looking forward to seeing you in TN. come say hi.

We run that size and material pretty commonly on one of our machines. I'm sure we can help you guys out. You can send us an email @ sales@mandrel-bends.com

I think I've even got a pic of that size running. If I remember correctly, this was 1" x .049 4130 on a 3" radius.

sent an email.
3" radius on 4 of the bends would be even better. theyre for our shock hoops.

the remaining bends are for our rear h-arms, and we'd need 16 total of those.
