Shift **** Creation Questions

I am making a shift **** but i need to know if anyone knows where i can buy a 10x1.5 thread sleeve to epoxy into the shift ball i have? thanks any help is appreciated.

heli-coil. some auto parts store carry them. depending on your material you could just tap it

I COULD DO THAT BUT IM NOT SURE HOW THE PLASTIC WILL HOLD THE HELI COIL. I WOULD RATHER JUST GLUE A THREADED SLEEVE INTO IT
