Default J's Racing Fender Flares?

I ordered these supposed J's flares from A&J racing and i was extremely disappointed with the quality. To anyone who has purchased these flares, was there any markings or serial numbers or anything to signify that it is a genuine J's part? The only thing it came with was a J's racing brochure lol.

Here are some pics.

thanks

Couple things, this is kind of weird...

1: Those DO look like J's Flares.

2: On the other hand EVERY J's part comes packed in J's boxes, either Brown or White, can you show me the box it came in?

If you ordered them from AJR then they are legit.

those are j's flares.
they are intended for ef9 so need to be trimmed slightly to fit-
i dont see whats wrong with them? they have flat spots for the rivets- and are made of fiberglass

<--- have new set for sale pm me an offer-

to me those flares look really poor quality!! the flares are for a my type r but they dont seem to sit flush with the car also both of the flares seem different form each other ( will try to take better pic tomorrow ). Yes they did come in a brown box. Do u guys now it those suppose to have any marking on them to tell if they are real j's racing? For now i will hold on to them and ask Greg form GT-motoring here in Chicago for more info. Thanks for all your inputs will keep you updated

I only know of one other J's flare owner in this room and he has been posting pics from Japan lately. Hopefully he will see this thread soon.

I've seen the real J's in person too when I worked at AJR and I can tell you those are real. It just needs to be fitted and painted.

i agree, those look exactly like my old j's flares. and ya, they do need to be massaged to fit perfect.

TOMASZ!!!, its josh... When it comes down to it they are just flares, it's going to take some effort to get them to fit the way you want them to... these are racing parts, not show quality winners, put it this way, my top secret diffuser had to be cut/trimmed before i could install it, thats just how it goes. JDM does not mean "perfect"

There are only a few authorized dealers for J's. I have personally stepped foot in AJR a few times and I can assure you, that they are an authorized dealer.

They're not really show pieces. They're low production parts made for a particular racing scenario, to satisfy a very small number of users.

hey guys here are some more pics of the flares!!!!! i know it was hard to see what was wrong with them at first but these you can see a little bit better!!!! Also josh or rowdys2000 have seen them and he sad that he would pay 50 bucks for these!!!! As you can see those gaps are about 3/4 of an inch from the body.

i dont know how bad A and J are with returns? i gave them a call not too long ago but the only thing we got resolved was to send him some pics and he will look at it!!!! I know it will require some cutting of the flare but i dont even know if this can even be put on the car

Well...i dont know how great their retun policy is, but i do know tbat they are making money hand-over-fist (have a look at the employee and team cars...baller!). On that note if you do return them hopefully they will not charge you a restocking fee or something silly like that. It is completely reasonable to ask for a full refund, and if they misinformed you in any way, then they should eat the shipping also.

It appears that even the J's sponsored caR doesn't have very good fitting flares either.
