Default msd plug wires keep popping off!

the 2nd and 4th spark plug wires (from the left) keep on popping out after 10 minutes of normal driving. what should i do to prevent this? are there any physical damages to your engine ora nything when running on a car without 2 spark plugs? I noticed i drove for a while liie this but everytime i check under the hood, 2 spark plug wires are off.

i think he meant that the wires are popping off his spark plug. i'd make sure there's anti-seize on the threads of the spark plug and that the plugs are torqued down properly. a loose spark plug might cause the plug wires to pop off.

Flame me, call me a hater, or reduce my rating if you want, but this is the stupidest thread I've ever read. Come on guys, is this issue so hard to deal with that you need the internet to help you?

1. If it falls off the plug, remove wire, push red wire portion through the grey boot until the brass comes out, then with a pair of dikes(cable cutters), modify the brass piece so that it's smaller and will grip the plug tip better, then pull the wire back through the boot and install.

2. If wire keeps falling off the cap -
A. See step 1
B. Zip tie method as previously mentioned.

Ever try using OEM or NGK wires... Live by them.
