airbag SRS ECU control module
I own a 97 jdm DB8 Integra GSR. The SRS light has been on since I got the car just over a year ago. I got it checked and turned out to be the airbag SRS ECU control module is bad. I have located 2 replacements. 1 from a 94 integra which popped it's airbags before and 1 from a 2000 integra that never popped.
I was told before that once a car has popped it's bags before that the ECU wouldnt be good anymore and that one from the 2000 integra would be different. Please advise on this.....

The accelerometers are in the SRS computer. Once deployed, they are potentially bad. (You don't want to risk this.) Regarding the compatability, check the part numbers with the links in my signature.
BTW: You have a JDM DB8 GSR?

You can't use the 94 one; the 94-95 model years had completely different SRS systems than later years.
