Ok I bought GSR arp head studs and I'm a little confused. The back of the blue box said torque them to 63 ft lbs with the provided lube. Inside the box on a sheet it said torque them to 80 ft lbs with the lube. Factory of course is 63 ft lbs. (if there was a cross eyed smiley it would be here)
I will of course be calling them tomorrow but your feed back would be appreciated.

Ok I spoke to an ARP representative. He said that the specs on the back of the box are just general guide lines and that I should follow the sheet included in the box. He double checked his facts and assured me that the should be tightened to 80 ft-lbs with arp moly lube.
Of course they are to be done in order as specified by OEM in three steps (aka all torqued first to 26 ft-lbs in order then to 52 ft-lbs and finaly to 80). That it to be done 3-5 times. So all said you could have 15 steps at the most.
So if your ready for your arm to be tired just thinking about it thats 10 nuts with 3 steps and 5 cycles = 150 times you'll be torquin those damn things up and thats excluding the OEM untorquing sequence (which is in a different order 1/3rd a turn at a time until loose)
It could take me two days to just put the head studs in!!!!
