Opera Performance S2000 Build Gallery. From Beginning to End
The coverage of the Opera Performance S2000 in magazines a few years ago only hinted at the level of detail. The entire build process from start to finish is finally shown, step by step, so everyone can see the master's handiwork.
I've had the pictures for years, unfortunately I wasn't allowed to share with others. I don't think any tuners in the states put anywhere near as much time and effort to chassis development. The cars torsional rigidity was tested, based off that the car was reinforced at key areas. Every part of the car screams light weight. All non essential parts were drilled to save weight. Key parts were drilled then chamfered to keep rigid.
Either way. This thing ran 1:01 at Tsukuba with pretty much a stock engine. Just goes to show how important chassis development is.
Enough chit chat. On to the pictures!
