Hmotors would be the first place that comes to my mind due to their quality of sales and reputation.

I'm having trouble finding a quick link to reference the hightlights in differences between 96-97, and 98-00' JDM ITRs.

96-97 has cast iron 4-2-1 header, 98+ has steel 4-1 header
00-01 has cam's similar to CTR profile
98+ has carbon faux spark plug cover
98+ has intake ports cleaned up by machine rather than by hand (more accurate)

that's pretty much the important parts

Everyone is correct! I have a JDM 96/98 Hybrid!
Originally a '96, but I put on the '98 HID's, 5 lug brakes(36mm), 4-1 header and 4.785 Final Drive.
No ABS or SRS!
I think it's the best of both worlds!

There are quite a few differences but the most important ones are the Gear ratios, and the 4-1 header .But the gear ratios are what made the98specR better off the line compared to the 96-97.
