i have a 94 civic with d15b7 now i'm looking into a d16y8 swap and have many questins

first of all i have a p28 with obd conversion harness and a vtec solenoid will my stock d15 wiring harness work ..i heard vtec is a bitch to wire would i be better off getting a z6 harness and using it...

second i have a complete d16y7 that is locked up can i swap parts like intake man. throttle body and sensors over to the y8.. pretty sure i can just wanna make sure...

and finally would the y7 tranny be better then my stock d15 tranny...

found a good deal on a rebuilt y8 and im tired of the b series i wanna have some fun with a SOHC
