Recently I have purchased a complete D16Y8. I pulled it apart and had some machining done to it to get it ready for the turbo build I had in mind. Now I've decided to go another route. Take this stuff off of my hands! Pictures at bottom of post

-Bare block cleaned and bored .020 over and matched to pistons *There is no Scaring on the walls, It's lead from a pencil being run down the length of the wall. $140

-75.5mm Vitara G16 pistons and pins w/ hastings rings ^^matched^^ for a P2W clearance of .003 (good for up to 450 HP)

is that scarring on the cylinder walls? how deep is it and are you able to catch it with your finger nail? Also how low is the drop with the springs?

The walls are in perfect condition. The marks you see are pencil lines. The guy who did the engine work uses a very fine tip pencil to feel and look for scarring.
