i have an an h22 and im not sure what to do for an ecu. right now i have cold air, full exhuast, h23 crank and rods, light porting, 450cc dsm injectors, and i plan to install my skunk2 intake mani and throttle body soon. this is my first project and i have failed to invetigate the computer portion of the build. i was thinking hondata ecu but i didnt know if there was a more cost effective option out there...... open to suggestions. thanks

 

P13 is the ECU I've seen most used with H22's

how much farther do you plan on going with your build? what pistons are you using?

p28 is what most swapped cars run

 

this motor is in a 94 prelude that used to have an h23 in it. im not sure how much further i want to go. im going to put the intake mani and throttle body on for sure. im not sure what i wanna do after that. right now i just want to be able to get it running right. i guess im just trying to figure out what its going to cost to get it tuned as is vs how much it will cost to get it tuned with room to play later.

 

if i get the p28 ecu what else will i need to get it properly tuned. wideband, cam gears..ect........?
