I'm having a problem on my 1995 EJ1 with the park lights fuse constantly blowing. When I looked up a fuse diagram (The one in the owners manual is less than worthless) I found tyhat this circuit powers an option connector. My question is, has anyone had this problem before? and how was it remedied? Also if someone can find a fuse box diagram from the 1995 EX coupe it owuld be helpfull, I don't know if there's any differences from the one I'm going off of (92 EX Coupe, and a 95 DX sedan)

Next possible cause is that I did have an alarm installed by the hacks at best buy (I know, I didn't have the time to do it myself, it's getting redone when the weather gets nice enough to park the car) and they left a mess of electrical tape and wires under the dash, I disconnected the line they ran to the park lights and insulated it. No change fuse still blows. I also pulled the power line for it from the options connector since, at least according to the diagram I have it was ran to the park light protected circuit instead of the radio circuit or elsewhere.

I'm pretty sure at this point that it's a short somewhere on that circuit but I have no idea where the short would be likely located. If anyone has had any problems like this in the past your help and anyone elses would be greatly appreciated.

 

Thank you honda-tech for absolutely no help, for anyone searching for this, there were two different shorts, both from aftermarket installers, the first was the power line from the fusebox to the alarm, it was worn through on a support beam under the dash, and the second was the dimming wire from the stereo that the person who had the car before me failed to insulate when he removed the stock deck. So there's two places to check, also I found a wiring diagram for the dashboard harness so if anyone runs into this problem in the future, PM me and I'll send you any diagrams I have.
