Default k20top/k24bottom. is it possible?????

I am thinking of doing a k20 top end, k24 bottom end. i have asked a few of my buddies and they have told me that this is impossible to do in my 03 civic. something to do with the way the motor mounts work out. Obviously i would have to change the motor mounts but has this ever been done before and if so how did it go? if not does anyone think it would work? and what type of tranny would anyone recommend?

yes completely possible has been done if I am not mistaken kinda expensive to do it though

I heard it was expensive and i was wondering y? the parts and labor are obviously part of that but is there anything else really? my friend said that i would have to redo the frame to support that motor. true or not?

There's quite a few members on Honda-Tech that have done a K24-K20 frankenstein build, but even more are on k20a.org.
