Default muffler for a d15

ok guys, I know what a stupid question this is because I understand that everyone has their own opinions on this. but basically i want to get a new muffler for my car. No ricer sounds coming from it. I want a nice deep sound, on my d15 engine with stock exhaust for now, what size should i go with. I know I am not going to get a performance gain right now. i just want a sweet sound that is nice and deep. is 2.5 a good size. I know it's a small *** motor so i don't really know what style of muffler to look for.

Get a stock Integra Type-R exhaust and muffler. All aftermarket exhausts for your car will sound like butthole except the Apexi WS2 - but good luck finding one.

x2 Apexi WS2 is an excellent system. Fitment was absolutely perfect for me, materials are decent and it sounds subtle yet deep.

apexi ws2 or u can go oem azle back mufflers such as dc4 type r.dc5. s2000, 06-07 civic si. u need to bring it to a muffler shop and have it cut and welded. but they all sound good and high flow. not ricy at all.

[b]Untrue -- but a lot of the aftermarket exhausts sound pretty shitty -- WS2 is the way to go if you're N/A and want a quiet non-stock exhaust

what about an itr exhaust 2.25? will that bolt right onto mine and sound good? and is that going to give it a deep sound? i don't want a high pitched tune, i want a deep kind of rumbling sound.

Depending on the length of your header and catalytic converter, it may. Likely, though, is that you will have to get a muffler shop to weld a bit of piping between the two to make it fit perfectly.

The 07 Si or a RSX-S muffler: quiet, high-flow, and looks good.

I have an oem 07 si muffler and love it.

Good sound and Installed and everything only cost me about $100.

I do want to ditch the Giant SI tip garnish in exchange for an ex or an accord tip.
