Hello to all,
I'm in desperate need of some help. Lets start from the beginning. First problem was when I would drive my car the RPMs would fluxuate the engine would stall and then pick up like nothing ever happend. This continued for about a week. Next thing the car would start and run fine RPMs would fluxuate and then instead of picking up again it would just DIE on me. After waiting for a few minutes(20) it would start and then DIE again, this went on for about a week. I took the car in a had them run a diagnostic, but nothing came up. I decided to try fixing it, I would start the car and let it idle after 10 minutes it would just DIE on its own and not start back up for awhile. These are the things that I have done so far to the car (changed: BATTERY, BATT. CABLES, PLUGS, WIRES, ROTOR, DISTRIBUTOR CAP, DISTRIBUTOR, COIL,ICM,PCV) Now the car just won't turn over. has it started since you replaced the distributor?

 

No, I put the distributor in this morning hoping that was it , but nothing it just wont turn over.

 

timing, is your cel throwing any codes? also grab a haynes or helms manual and make sure your firing order is correct. did it turn over at all before the dizzy?

 

I put in a new distributor, and figured out that it was 180 out of timing. I fixed that and still have nothing, just won't turn over.
