I read in the engine swap thread bout what you exactly need with swap and it said you need an ep3 sub frame but i was wondering if you can use an RSX-S sub frame because my friend just bought one thanks...oh and its for a K20a

 

ep3, base rsx and type s subframes work. i have a type s on my swap.

I'm using an RSX subframe..It fits like a glove

 

My first RSX-S sub-frame was bent, due to the car being in an accident, but my second RSX-S sub-frame worked.

 

I think the faq could be updated with this information about the rsx base and type s sub frames can be used.

in the *** it only states ep3 si.

Yeah, Kevin really didn't have too much info. about the K-swap listed. I'll get around to updating that.

 

Should probably include the newer engines too.
The "SI" is no longer just an ep3
