Default Getting an engine home.

Ok. I'm getting an engine from this guy and only have my civic to get it home with.

How would I go about this without doing crazy damage?

I was thinking of putting it in my passenger seat and strapping it down and back to the seat............

I have no other ideas... anyone else?

Haha just messing.

I didn't use anything to tie it down. The motor should be heavy enough to sit pretty snug.

Since you're driving quite a distance, you could probably use some string or rope what have you, and get creative.

i was going to sit it on the seat (on a tarp or something) and use the seatbelt and a tie-down to keep it to the seat... if that seems logical

Is it a shortblock or longblock?

That should fit. There's probably no need to take your seat out then.

It will fit on your passenger side if you remove the seat and it should fit in your trunk minus spare tire.
