ok first off my cars a POS we just replaced the fuel filter and fuel pump and i was just wondering about the fuel filter does it matter wat hoes goes in which hole like say we put the hoes to the fuel rail to the inlet hole.....would it work well and if it dont let me know and let me know the right order cuz im so confused cuz the dumb *** who had it before me didnt know wat he was doing and i think he put the filter on backwards....so for example does the hoes from the fuel pump go to the hole with the arrow pointing towards the hole or away from the hole

 

pretty sure is towards the arrow or if you are facing it it should be on the right and the left one go to the fuel rail

 

i believe there should be arrow pointing out meaning output to the fuel rail.

the only reason im wondering if it matters is because my dad thinks hes all bad *** and he always wants to be right and he said it dont matter which way it goes just as long as its there but i looked into both ports inlet and outlet and the look different

 

tell your dad I said expletive off, why do the companies spend money on research and developement to be told there wrong by your dad? Do it the WAY it's supposed to be.
