Shaving my DA Door moldings,opinions?

I'm with him, the doors look way too plain w/o em'. They don't turn out like a DC Integra. If you've seen the way it looks and you like it then do it. Sorry i'm no help I just hate to see ghetto DA's

Yeah, shaved moldings only look nice on a DC Integra.
On Civics and DA Integras, it just doesn't look right.
It's your car though and do what you like. Just adding my probably useless input.

if your not an experienced bodyman, DONT DO IT. or your doors are going to look like a newborn baby **** all over them and then someone painted it. and your gonna have to shave the quarter and fender moldings as well to make it look uniform. and if the body isnt right than your gonna regret it.

pretty much sums it up.
it's your call, it's not hard but it's not exactly spreading bondo neither.
don't fill the whole darn thing with bondo and expect it to last

same gauge sheet metal on grind down bare door skin, welded, NOT SCREW ON. grind aways crap and skim it.

im pretty experienced in body work and i refuse to shave moldings on peoples car who ask i would just get the jdm moldings and call it a day ... but good luck if you go the other way
