IVE ALREADY ASKED THIS QUESTION ONCE BEFORE.. but i didnt save it on my clipboard.. i have an auto p28 and i need to chip it to be a MT.....
if i remember right it was remove rp17 and rp18...then put a jumper across rp18.... is this correct? thanx for your help..

de solder DO NOT drape solder across board it will burn in/short ruin it, you need a solder sucker. do it right no cheap shnit
solder ( i use lead free since i SMAW at work and kill enough brain cells
) the old jumper onto the port.
be carful if you cannot solder pratice.
anyone can do it.
it is not difficult just small. also do not cup your finger under the wire. first time i did it, i fed it like GTAW wire with my hand cupped and upside down......dripped RIGHT into my palm
