It's probably in limp mode. Any codes?

hey so im the one doing the swap. its a d16z6 with d15z1 manifold. i was told they are suppossed to be the exact same but theres a extra coolant line on the back of the manifold. i jsut teed that off into the other line that goes into the EACV. and on the z6 manifold theres a purge valve on the back and it goes into the back of the manifold. it starts fine and idels fine but it wont rev past 3k and if its WOT it just boggs out and idels like its got some toda cams. but its all stock. theres no CEL. i cant figure it out.

When your ECU feels like something isn't right, it restricts your car to a certain rpm. It doesn't fail totally on you so that you can drive yourself home.

Try another ECU, but I'm willing to bet it's something you did wrong with the swap.

what ecu? Any codes? I agree with limp mode. Reset ecu IF you are using the correct one.
