Hi,

As you know the lower front control arm is two pieces. The straight part that attaches to the ball joint and the "y-piece" that bolts to it and to the frame with the bushing. The y-piece comes with a pressed in stud and the other attachment is threaded for a bolt from the straight arm to the y.
The pressed in stud has snapped off my y-piece. I pressed what was left of the stud out so does anyone know where I can get a replacement and also the replacement bolt? They are both 12mm diameter with the same threads, the stud is 88mm long (3 1/2"), the bolt is 82mm long (3 1/4"). Seems silly to have to buy a whole new y-piece just to get the stud. Or can the stud just be replaced with an 88mm long bolt? The stud reminds me of the pressed fit lugnut stud in a wheel hub only longer. Anyone have a source for metric suspension bolts & studs?

I read your description multiple times, and to me it sounds like you're describing a ball joint, and the "y" piece is the upper a-arm. Guess my deciphering was wrong. It'd be alot easier if you just posted a picture of what you're talking about.

If it ends up being a bolt, let me know. I have basically every bolt to build a 5g Civic like 10x over.
