Default Cluster Removal Question

Hey guys im about to remove my cluster from my EJ8,but was wondering if when disconnecting the plugs am I suppose to unplug the battery too?I mean I have never removed the plugs from cluster and I don't want any airbags deploying.Im afraid of that happening so can anyone shed some light on if its ok to just remove plugs without battery being disconnected.

battery doesnt need to be unplug, just remove the 4 screws then unplug the 4 wires, they are colored so you will know which one to plug back in, but you have to turn off the car when doing this.
