EG rear upper control arm, same as integra rear uca? I did some searching and didnt come up with much, The reason im asking is that a friend of mine just put his teg back to stock height and is no longer in need of his rear ajustable uca's and he is willing to trade me straight across

how about front upper arms of TEG (DB9) can be used at EG6(SR3) as well?...

 

The YEARS of the cars being discussed will help too. I'm not 100% polished on Integra chassis codes, so I'll assume DB means 90-93 Integra.

90-93 Integra = not the same front upper arm as 92-95 Civic

94-01 = same front upper control arm as 92-95 Civic

 

but, the code engraved on the DB's upper arm is SR, same as per 92-95 civic...still curious...anybody got experience?

BTW I've got plenty of first-hand experience with this.

I don't have time to look up the chassis code and see what year car you're talking about.

It's very simple - 90-93 is not the same; 94-01 is the same.

If you do not believe me on the years then ask yourself why Skunk2 has a completely different upper control arm camber kit for 90-93 Integra/EF Civic and then a 94-01 Integra/92-95 Civic kit.

 

i'm not sure from what year is that DB9's upper arm, either 93, 95 or 99...i bought the used parts from the "reconds parts" shop. The seller only know its DB9. i'm not sure either it can be used on my 92hatch (SR3)...

 

I'll look up DB9 - it might be a 4 door 94 style chassis.

 

i'd just do some search....DB9 is 2 and 4 doors from 93, 95 and 99 TEG..

 

I've got all the USDM VIN specs here in front of me in a Genuine Acura Parts quick refernce guide, and there is no DB9 which means it's probably a JDM or overseas code, BUT it looks like it would be the 94-up style judging by the USDM codes for 94-up being DB7, DB8 etc.

All the USDM 90-93 Integra 4 doors look to be DB1 - nowhere near DB9.

I'm sure someone has a chart including JDM codes so you can see that DB9 is a certain year.

DB9 is JDM...i did saw few units of chassis in my country, malaysia, DB8 and DB9...but, this upper arms, i do not sure either can fit to my sr3...

 

anyway, thanks for your info pal..tommorrow i will try to install it on my 92 hatch...if fit, i will tell it here...

 

done it...just installed the upper arms from DB9 into my SR3...and now still installed my new steering rack...thanks pal...

 

just install my steering rack...no more freeplay on my steering wheels...but, still got another sounds coming out...is it due to my front lower arms?...drive shaft been replaced to new sets 3 months ago. which bushing of front lower arms should to replaced?...
