I got mine, located inside the center AC/heater vents, to retain that sleeper look.

Oscar, did you see mine during EXPO? It's sitting right on top of the dash. It's small enough so it won't block the view.

I have mine right in front of the steering wheel, just infront of the cluster. It doesnt block your view of the cluster at all and it is very visible when lit up.

It's hard to have a shift light aim right at your eyes with out it being on top of a tach....unless you can mount it on the a-pillar somehow.

I have the Autometer shift lite. If you have time, its not that bad of an install because the rewards are worth the effort. The light is very noticeable when your in redline. I love the sleeper look. The installation requires you to remove the climate control unit. From there you can mount the Lite bracket from the inside vent. Good luck.

I dont have an ITR, but I use a Pro-Form shift light on both of my hatches. Its great, rotary **** to adjust RPM and only $45. I have em both mounted low cause I cant stand being blinded. You know when to shift cause the whole interior lights up(at night). I dont drive hard in the daytime.
