Default b16 pistons in a ls build?

can i put b16 pistons into my ls build without the expensive dyno tuning at the end? if so will it run right with ls crank and rods?

Why would you want to put the time and money into installing pistons but not want to dyno tune it to get the max potential out of your set-up? IMO with this mentality you probably shouldn't be modding a car.

To answer your question, yes, it will work with the LS crank and rods..... tons of people have done it. It wouldn't be a bad idea to replace the factory rod bolts with arp's while you are at it.

Do the math.. it's like a 2 point compression bump. No way you'll be able to get away with this without tuning.

i love people who find it so easy to judge someone based upon a simple question. i had asked a similar question in another post. you should find a p28 ecu and adaptor harness, and get a basemap chip/ or dyno tuning. for longevity/reliability, there really isn't any way around it.
